Broken Bowl® Kintusgi Workshop For Women

Join us for an immersive, hands-on experience inspired by the Zen Buddhist philosophy of wabi-sabi, which honors beauty in imperfection. This workshop invites you to explore how personal challenges can be transformed into meaning and growth through Kintsugi—the ancient Japanese practice of repairing broken pottery with gold. In this full-day offering, you will be guided through a creative process that invites transformation of the parts of the self that feel cracked or broken into meaning and beauty, while exploring themes of resilience, attachment, and restoration. You will receive a white bowl, all art materials and journal prompts, with space to reflect in a supportive, nurturing environment limited to 8 participants.

There is a break for lunch: please provide your own lunch or you are welcome to go to a local restaurant during the break.

Please note: this is a mindful expressive workshop, not a clinical art therapy group. Individual follow-up support is available for an additional fee if you wish to explore what arises more deeply.

Limited spots for 8 women only for a safe healing exchange
