WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE?
Dance and music have been an integral part of human history and have been used for generations as a tool to create community, healing, and empowerment.
Ecstatic dance is a unique form of free-flow movement that guides you to get out of your mind and drop deep into your body, allowing your movements to be an authentic expression of your internal emotions.
There are no rules or judgments and no choreography to follow. Instead, you are encouraged to move as your body naturally desires, exploring various dance forms, from flowing and graceful to wild and untamed. This is your sacred space to express your authentic self and feel a sense of freedom and liberation.
When in full surrender, free flow movement has the power to activate your life force energy and show you the way back home to your truth. This is a unique dance experience facilitated with electronic house music and spoken word to guide you through a powerful and empowering transformation. Basking in the afterglow of the dance, you'll feel a renewed sense of self-empowerment, connection, and authenticity.

WHAT TO BRING:

*You do not need any prior dance experience to attend. We will practice ecstatic dance and intuitive free-flow movement. Expect to drop into your body allowing the music and your intuition to guide you.
If you are nervous about dancing in a public setting, believe that you have no rhythm, and/or feel insecure in your body...
This is the perfect event for you and I would love to change your mind. I wholeheartedly believe that if you have a body - you were born to dance. How safe and free you feel and move in your body is a direct reflection of how confidently you move and take action in all other areas of your life. If you are nervous about moving, this is the perfect opportunity to get outside of your comfort zone to experience the power of ecstatic dance. When we take a leap of faith into the uncomfortable areas of our insecurities to explore a deeper mind-body-soul connection - MAGICAL things happen. This is a safe space for you to explore something new and walk away empowered AF. Also, your eyes will be closed for most of the journey and I will be guiding you every step. I am confident that you will be pleasantly surprised and will want to return for a future event.
