What if spiritual life wasn’t something separate from ordinary life, but something expressed through the way we gather, love, speak, laugh, pay attention, and participate in the world together?
This monthly long-form gathering centers around Meditative Unwinding, a structured contemplative practice developed over more than a decade that integrates meditation, intentional movement, breathwork, interoceptive awareness, inquiry, and contemplative methods.
We intentionally engage four meditative states: present moment awareness, focused intention, an energized body-mind state, and (perhaps) transcendence. This practice develops the capacity to stay connected to yourself in your ordinary life - while thinking, loving, spending, relating, and working.
This is not spirituality as escape from life. It's spirituality expressed through deeper participation in it.
After the practice, we have built in time to settle into conversation, laugh, linger, and get to know each other. Everyone is invited to bring their own lunch or something to share.
The people you practice life with matters.
The repeated rhythm of gathering matters.
The relationships built over time matter.
This was built for open-minded, spiritually engaged people who are interested in a grounded and lived approach to spiritual life.
Just like you, this practice reflects multitudes. It can hold contemplation, beauty, friendship, conversation, joy, and the full experience of being human.
Presence changes what becomes possible in a human life. Your presence is needed. Claim it. Message @ByShariSims for all the details.
